If you experienced a water outage or low water pressure in the following areas: Springcrest Subdivision, Rose Road, Logans Ridge and Highland Forest, please boil water until you have been notified that your water has been tested to insure the water is safe for human consumption you are advised to boil water as stated in the following paragraph.

In order to protect the public from a potential health hazard, all citizens that have experienced water outages and/or low water pressures are advised to “boil” all water prior to use for drinking, cooking, making ice or preparing baby food. The water should be boiled for at least one minute after reaching a rolling boil. Citizens in this area should continue to boil their water until they are notified by the White County Water Authority that the water system has been restored to full operation, and that the microbiological quality of the water in the distribution system is safe for human consumption.

A separate notice will be provided to involved customers as notification that water services have been restored and the quality of the water is safe for human consumption.
